Wired journal has hired Emily Mullin to deal with biotechnology.
She will start out future month.
She has been functioning for the Pittsburgh Put up-Gazette and also beforehand described on biotech for Medium’s OneZero publication.
Mullen was previously a freelance author who has experienced bylines in The Washington Write-up, The Wall Road Journal, Scientific American, National Geographic, The Atlantic, Science, Quartz, Pacific Regular, and The Baltimore Sunlight, amongst many others.
Her parts of curiosity include gene therapy, CRISPR, buyer genetics, reproductive know-how, brain implants, regenerative medication, biohacking, and AI in drugs.
She has also labored as associate editor for biomedicine at MIT Technologies Assessment, the place she gained a Newsbrief Award from the D.C. Science Writers Affiliation.
She acquired her bachelor’s degree in journalism at Ohio University and a master’s in science writing from Johns Hopkins University.
